Day 1: Winchester

So our first flight and bus ride went along smoothly. England is a good place to gather ourselves before we head to South America and start exploring aggressively. Our good friend Juliet has been gracious enough to kick her sister out for a few days and give us the 'spare' bedroom to crash in. For those that have never been Winchester it is truly a picture perfect beautiful city.

The River Itchen is literally in Juliet's backyard and runs through the city. Winchester is an old capital of England and is well known for the Winchester Cathedral which is one of the largest in England.

We had dinner and a pint at The Black Boy pub. These old English pubs are fantastic, a few fire places to keep it warm, and a good plate of fish and chips as we caught up.
