The one thing we wanted to get a glimpse of was the silent march by the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo. The mothers march for their children that went missing during the Dirty War (1976-1983). Much has changed regarding the democracy of Argentina and the mothers no longer march looking for answers but now help with other social causes.

Other than that we had dinner at a Scandanavian restaurant (deer carpaccio was excellent) and now getting ready for our early flight to Peru in the morning.
And for those that are wondering, the goatee was shaved off today. It can't compete with 70 and 80 degree weather.

the goatee will come back i am sure....heat makes people lazy......so...you cannot win. in a few days you will be too lazy to shave...and the wheel goes round and round. Cannot wait to hear about your next venture - PERU!!! love you guys
ReplyDeleteIs this the first time you are shaving during this trip? There isn't a single clean shaven picture posted. There should be some proof that you were finally able to part with the facial hair.
ReplyDeleteYou ate deer?! Frank, I'm very disappointed in you! To each his own, but deer? I suppose I can forgive you some day ;-)
