On our walk to the village, we passed this view of a thatched cottage (you can only see the roof).
We took a shortcut through the churchyard to get to the village:

When we got back to the house, an amazing curry lunch was waiting for us and we had a hard time limiting ourselves to seconds. In the afternoon, we took the train back to London (about a 2 hour journey) and relaxed at the apartment for the evening. Then we walked around an area called St. Katharine's Docks, which has marinas and tons of bars and restaurants. We had a drink outside with a view of the boats to end the fabulous day. Here is one of Frank's expert night shots of the area:
Yet another great day on our fantastic journey. It's so nice to be back in someone's home, having home-cooked meals! We are so lucky to have such amazing hosts here - the perfect way to end our trip.
